Tutors All Subjects Needed

Lake Washington Tutoring is seeking highly-qualified tutors with previous experience to add to our growing team. Depending on your experience, you will work with students one-on-one or in small groups to support students' academic needs. The selected candidates will set their own hours and work afternoons, evenings and/or weekends with students one-on-one in their homes. Reliable transportation required. Part-time, Contract.

Location: We provide in-home tutoring in the Greater Seattle Area as well as tutoring at select locations. The tutor will choose geographic locations in which they work and travel. Geographic locations include Eastside, Kirkland, Woodinville, Redmond, Newcastle, Issaquah and/or Seattle, extending from Shoreline down to Columbia City, depending on your preference.

- Bachelor's Degree in teaching or related field or extensive experience in related field
- Bachelor’s Degree can be in progress if graduation date is before 2019
- Prior teaching or tutoring experience (your application will not be considered if you do not meet this requirement)
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Prior experience with conflict resolution
- Prior experience teaching ACT or SAT test preparation classes (if applying for test prep tutoring)
- Willingness and ability to use technology and software
